Objectives

Lucia Posters

To make a film with the minimum of material resources and maximum of creative exploration.

To work with a small crew and a reduced cast of actors in digital video and thereby allowing the actors a chance to explore their roles for extended periods of time.

To bring together a group of creative individuals, all of whom have extensive experience in either theater or film and video production. And to collaborate in creating a film in an intimate and self-reflective way.

To explore the possibilities of image making with the use of various mediums and shooting techniques: HD digital video and digital still photography in animated sequences.

To present the public with a film that challenges their concept of the viewing process. The goal of “Lucía” is to make a film that begins, develops and ends simply, based on observation and intuition.

To move as far away from international commercial filmmaking trends as possible and to focus on developing a personal cinema.
