Lucia's imaginary room

“Lucía” was shot in color high definition digital video and digital still photographs. The film’s duration will be approximately 80 minutes and will have direct sound with no scored music. The format of exhibition is in HDCAM.

The project is conceived as a small-scale digital audiovisual production that focuses on quality of content and aesthetic exploration rather than the imitation of commercial models and following accepted filmmaking trends.

“Lucía” was shot using two main visual aesthetics: 1- Digital video and 2- Still digital photographs arranged into animated sequences. Through this combination of shooting techniques and visual rhythms, an alternate to conventional film narrative structures is proposed.

 

Storyline

    Lucía is a feature film that explores the mystery of one woman’s personal life during the Christmas season in Santiago, Chile in 2006, weeks after the death of the former Chilean dictator Pinochet.

    The film was shot in Santiago, Chile in December 2008 and February 2009, it is currently in Postproduction. "Lucia" is being produced by Diluvio.
